Free 3D Model for subscribers and followers : Dexter Diner from Star Wars II some news!!

Here, in addiction to the original post of 2012, a little showreel with the version of the model as a package for Unreal Engine 4, available as soon as possibile.

After the huge success of the Huis Seventer (only available for all subscribers and twitter followers) is now the turn of a model which is already a classic of science fiction: the dexter diner in Star Wars II.

Pay attention : the most part of my free 3D models are TOTALLY free with direct link in my website, only few models are made for subscribers/follower.

In order to obtain the download link is necessary to subscribe the site or follow on twitter @rodluc, once registered mail me to rodluc@virgilio.it, so it's easier to send you the link asap.

For the first time in the VOB model i've used the displacement effect for the roof material, is most realistic for me, but you can easly deflag the displacement option and use the most classical Bump maps...

Han Solo in carbonite 3D Model

Hi, i found a nice low detailed Han Solo in carbonite free 3D model and i played a little bit with ZBrush on details.
The result is a big Hi-poly model.

The Model revamped by me.

3D Model: The evolution of Scifi suburbs blocks

After the glorious era of my model sci-fi blocks of 2009, I thought it was time to create a new set of blocks for the creation of futuristic cities.

I learned a lot from the first version, for example, that you should not overdo the number of polygons and the Variety of the blocks must be extensive.

So compared to the first version, this provides 10 blocks and the numbers of polygons are optimized, also 2 special models with some street neon billboard is provided.

3D free Model : Cantina Bar Released!

As you can see here the model inspired by the famous Cantina Bar from Stawars (TM) is ready and you can download it from this page.

The biggest effort has been made to the internal part of the model, whereas the outside is not particularly detailed.

The version for 3d studio max contains some arches very detailed, to avoid a 600 MB file as obj these arches were removed,  so if you use the max version is better if your PC has enough RAM to have no performance problems.

"Hutt Castle, often simply called Jabba the Hutt's Palace after its owner, a large stone and durasteel complex, was located at the fringes of the Northern Dune Sea on the planet of Tatooine. Originally erected as a monastery of the B'omarr Order, the buildings eventually fell into the hands of two major crimelords: first an outcast and gang leader called Alkhara and later Jabba the Hutt, a notorious crime lord from Nal Hutta.
While the structure underwent many additions in the way of fortification and technological advances, the basic structure of the complex remained the same throughout its existence. Composed of a central rotunda and a taller spire adjacent to it, the ridge-side retreat also boasted an underground hangar and maintenance bay. Deep in the monastery's subterranean chambers, Jabba the Hutt made a throne room which sat on top of a pit housing a pet rancor. The Hutt used this beast for a dual purpose: protection and entertainment. At the flick of a switch, a concealed door in the floor of the chamber could deposit a threatening guest into an inescapable pit while onlookers could watch as the rancor made short work of its meal."*

For those who do not know the palace of Naboo (the saga of Star Wars) is a free model that you can download for free from my website at this link.

Unfortunately the palace building is not enough to recreate the atmosphere of the capital city of the planet Naboo, marked by numerous buildings in neoclassical style.

So I decided to create a dozen buildings inspired by some photographs retrieved from the film Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Here you can see another image made with Vue 10 (some star wars stuff come from http://www.scifi3d.com/), the package will soon be available on the marketplaces with which I am affiliated.
